2023-11-05.jpg

Angie is excited to announce new learning programs and packages for littles, tweens, and teens for summer 2026! Your kids may be in need of extra reading or maths practice during summer break to ensure they don't forget all they've learned the previous schoolyear, they may want to get ahead for upcoming courses, or you may be in the Indy area hoping to get them out of the house to experience more nature and art! There are several options for both individualized summer lessons and group outings that focus on curiosity, exploration, and creativity!

Angie is an approachable, engaging, and enthusiastic tutor for kids, teens, and adults of all ages! She focuses on listening to client needs and working together to find your own personal learning style and to implement individualized tools that will guarantee success. She's been a substitute teacher with Virginia Beach Public Schools and an AVID tutor with Springfield Public Schools as well as tutored and given kids help with homework during the afterschool program with Boys & Girls Club of Central Illinois. She's continued to work with kids, teens, and college students as a private tutor and as a creative writing and arts workshops instructor for more than a decade. She's also a registered tutor with Grade Potential Tutoring and Tutor Hero and has a completed background check on file with the agencies. She currently works with students locally in and around Indianapolis, IN. Angie is organized, reliable, and committed to empowering others to learn and achieve big things, not only in their academic journey but in all their goals and endeavors in life!

Summer Unschooling Adventures for
Local West /Northwest Indianapolis Residents

Angie's Unschooling Adventures are open to kids entering 2nd through 8th grade and will be located at various libraries, parks, and other venues on the west/northwest side of Indy, primarily around Avon, Brownsburg, Eagle Creek Park, Whitestown, and Zionsville with occasional activities closer to downtown. While anyone anywhere in the Indianapolis area can participate, no transportation will be provided; parents/guardians will be responsible for transporting children to and from the designated meeting location each day. Parents/guardians are also welcome to stay and participate in activities anytime! The cost for all kids' activities and supplies is included in the session fees; any accompanying adult will be required to pay any additional costs for themselves, such as museum entrance fees, local snack shops, etc. Each child will required to bring a bag lunch each day. Note that these activities will happen regardless of the number of participants! Angie is hoping for a minimum of three kids each day (maximum six), but even on days when only one child shows up, we'll still have an amazing adventure together! Outdoor activities will, of course, depend on the weather. We will always have back-up plan with an indoor option for when weather doesn't cooperate! A tentative schedule will be available before June. The session days will be EITHER Tuesdays/Thursdays OR Mondays/Wednesdays depending on registrants' availability. If more than six kids register, Angie may add an additional session and/or split the group by grade level. Complete the registration form FOR EACH CHILD as soon as possible so we can plan the schedule! You will not need to pay for the session at registration. Payments will be due each Sunday before the start of each week or, for full session pre-payment, by Sunday, May 31.

The 6-week session will run from Monday, June 1 -- Friday, July 10, 2026.
